10 Must See – Talent Show Auditions

Our patience here at TCS HQ is wearing thin with these shows. Undoubtedly there is some talent that comes through the door, but it’s the shit you have to put up with to get it that makes us put on Season 1 of Entourage for the 30th time instead. Here is a collection of our favorite auditions from a selection of singing shows. Enjoy!

 1. Kye Sones’ Audition – The X Factor UK 2012

Just a lovely stripped back, piano version of two good songs. Vocally spot on, very easy to listen to!

2. Michael Collings – Britain’s Got Talent 2011

This lad is very unsuspecting and it’s probably for that reason he captures the audiences imagination so well. He doesn’t over sing it at all just lets the brilliance of the song take over.

 3. Bella Ferraro – Australian X Factor 2012

Shot to fame in Australia with this audition and for good reason. Her voice is fragile, raw and demanding of the attention of everyone in the room. A must watch!

4. Mark Spano – Australian Idol 2008

How this bloke isn’t selling records in Australia has got us puzzled. Smokin’ vocals and a bit of a rooster. Be careful showing your girlfriends this one.

5. Josh Brookes – Australian X Factor 2011

Let’s make something very clear. This bloke is a flat out pancake. A dead set, turn off the phone and close the door ‘a grade’ goose. But you can’t say he doesn’t absolutely smoke this audition. Career never took off (you can think of your own reasons) but he can always hang his hat on this one.

6. Phil Phillips – American Idol 2012

Our man at 2Phil waltzes in, cooler then the other side of the pillow and rips out a groovy acoustic performance that leaves J-Lo demanding flood relief money.

7. Cassadee Pope – The Voice USA

Well, we love ‘Nat’ here at TCS and Cassadee does a pretty bloody good ‘Nat’. Wowing the judges and a few blokes at TCS in the process. There were more travelers in the film room then the Backpacker Bar on King St. Stunner!

8. Matt Corby – Australian Idol 2007

At just 16,  Matt delivers the sort of performance that will see your misses breaking up with you before you can say, ‘oh, brother’.

9. Danyl Johnson – The X Factor UK 2009

Such a cracking song, such a cracking version. Quality vocal performance.

 10. Marty Simpson – Australian Idol

Another bloke from the TCS stable, Marty is raw and delivers a wonderful sound. Do yourself a favor and check out his original ‘And for what’. You won’t be disappointed.
